SEO works by bringing together several different components of your website; ranging from content seen on the site itself to advanced structured data being created and added to the backend of your site. Each aspect of your site is carefully connected throughout our SEO process to ensure that every part of your site is completed with SEO.
In order to simplify this for our clients, we've developed our own 4 Phase structure for completing your SEO and have broken it down into a simplified version so that it's easy to understand.
Phase 1: This is started in the first 2 weeks, while our directory team and content writers are hard at work, once the approved content has been passed to our team of SEO specialists. Once the content is received, our team adds the content articles to your site via a "Learn More" tab that directs web crawlers to each article on your site, explaining what your site is about. If you opted out of content, we will send you an email with the keywords that we were able to target on your website. Once we've completed this step, you will receive an email asking you to approve the 1st phase so that we can move on to the next phases.
If you're not happy with your content or want to make changes to it - no problem! You can make any changes that you'd like or purchase Premium Content that will be written by a senior writer and will be more specific to your business and requests.
Phase 2: Once the 1st phase is approved, we start completing the social share and advanced SEO - this refers to the meta tags, structured data, etc. and we will also complete the SEO on any pre-existing pages of your site.
Phase 3: This is when we will enable your mobile view and edit it for aesthetics. Once we're done with this, we will submit your website to Google for Indexing and notify web crawlers to crawl it. We will also connect your site to the Google Search Console so that we can monitor progress there as well.
Phase 4: Your site is checked over by our quality control specialists to make sure that everything is being indexed properly and all SEO is properly completed. Once this is done, you'll receive a checklist via email that shows what we have completed for you.
These phases typically take 4 - 5 weeks to be completed and you'll receive email updates along the way!
