Checking Site Performance and Traffic
You can check the performance of your website directly in your Wix dashboard.
Once you log in, you'll need to look at the Analytics & Reports section of your dashboard:
From there, you'll want to make sure that you select the Traffic section, which will show you the traffic analytics for your website. Note that you can change the time frame that you are looking at as well:
These analytics will show you the Total Sessions and Unique Visitors.
Total Sessions shows the number of visits to your website.
Unique Visitors shows the number of visitors to your website.
Any increase in visits to your site shows that the SEO is having a positive effect on your website - which is exactly what we're looking for!
Not seeing an increase? If you've been a client of ours for 90 or more days, check-in with your project manager so that we can see what we can do to get an increase in traffic!
Keep in mind that SEO takes time to work and we might not see the best results at day 90 - unfortunately, we can't do much before this because it does take 4 - 6 months for SEO to really kick in for your website and, while we give ourselves just 90 days, we have to be sure not to change too many things too often as this is detrimental to the performance of your site.
