Checking on The Status of Progress on Your Account
Once you sign up, it takes us about 4 - 5 weeks to get everything up and running for your website and 90 days to see results.
There are a lot of different variables of your services that we have different departments take responsibility for so that we can expedite the work for you as quickly as possible.
Once we finalize your account setup, we send your business information and keywords to our directory listings specialists and content team. Our content team will start looking at your keywords and reviewing your website for any available information to base their writing on and will get to work.
The process of writing your content, checking it for grammar, having it proofread, and submitted back to our teams takes about 2 weeks.
Our directory specialists get to work by submitting your business information to several online directory listing sites and are careful to select the best ones for your business and industry. This also kicks off the progress made for citations and backlinks to your website.
During this time, our web team starts setting up what we need to get the SEO started on your site - once they have the content, they can integrate it on the site and complete building out the back end SEO and that's when you'll get our "Phase 1 Completion" notice. Once you receive this and approve it, we are able to complete the final phases which will typically take us 2 weeks.*
If we are building you a website, our web team is getting your website set up to be completed with content and SEO while the content and directory teams are working on those aspects of your account for you. Once your website is completed, you'll be able to be added as a contributor. This typically happens around the 4th or 5th week of service.
Once we've implemented these big changes for your site, we submit your website to Google for Indexing and notify Web Crawlers to start crawling your website in order to learn what it is about, what information it can provide to people searching and familiarize themselves with it. This part of the SEO process is extremely important and is a pivotal moment in your website's SEO.
We do not make any further changes on your website at this point as we need to allow Google and its' web crawlers the time to learn and understand your site. We do continue to monitor the indexing with search engines and consistently push information about your business to different internet sources to make sure we're saturating as much information as possible to online sources.
Over the next few weeks, leading up to the 90th day of your account, our implemented SEO is constantly working to make sure internet search engines are reminded that there's new information for them to learn - basically waving and shouting, "Hey! Over here! There's new information you should know about!"
At day 90, we take a look at the website traffic analytics to see how successful the SEO has been and can implement changes or updates at that time if needed. Any increase in web traffic at day 90 is exactly what we are looking for as it shows that web crawlers are better understanding your site and referring it to people searching online for keywords related to your business.
